MCA CLARIFICATION ON CESSATION OF 98 SECTIONS OF COMPANIES ACT 1956





 

Now it is confirmed that the relevant 98 sections  of the Companies Act, 1956 which correspond to provisions of 98 sections of the Companies Act, 2013 cease to have effect. Therefore after 12th Sep. 2013, 98 sections of new Companies Act, 2013 shall be applicable and the corresponding 98 sections of Companies Act, 1956 ceased to have effect.
